The Range Nordic Gliders is a non profit, 501c-3 ski club located in Hibbing, Minnesota, made entirely of local volunteers who want to ensure the future of our Carey Lake trail system. The mission of Range Nordic Gliders is to establish, promote, and preserve nordic skiing on the Iron Range.
We have raised money to light the Carey Lake Black Forest trail, purchase grooming equipment for trail grooming and maintenance, and make trail improvements to the Carey Lake trail system. We have funded youth nordic ski activities and we are very proud of sponsoring the Carey Lake Classic Ski Challenge that is held the 3rd Saturday in February.
We are passionate about nordic skiing! We have a deep appreciation for winter, the outdoors, and our community. We truly love to share that appreciation with others in hopes that we will continue to build relationships, make new connections, and all in all make Carey Lake a place that everyone can enjoy year around!
